Gold Watcher — XAUUSD Session Alert Tool

Gold Watcher is a read-only tool for gold. It watches price around the previous day’s high, low and close, and messages your own Telegram when a setup forms — with the current price and a suggested stop and target. It never opens, modifies or closes any trade on your account.

What it does

• Monitors XAUUSD around yesterday’s high, low and close.
• Sends structured Telegram messages during the Asian, European and US sessions.
• Includes the current price plus a suggested stop-loss and take-profit on every operational alert.
• Filters out flat days, wide spreads and the middle of the range.

What it does not do

• It does not open, modify or close positions.
• It does not touch your balance or your orders.
• It does not promise results — the levels are a starting point for your own judgement.

The four signals

• Rejection — price reaches a prior-day level and turns away from it within the bar.
• Breakout + pullback — price clears the previous high or low, returns to it, and pushes on.
• Trend continuation — once price holds beyond a level, a small pullback to the moving average and a restart.
• Bias and Wait — context notes on the day’s lean and on breakouts that still need confirmation. No entry.

How an alert reads

Operational alerts carry the levels. Context alerts keep you oriented without suggesting an entry. Examples:

Where the stop and target come from

Nothing is invented. The stop sits just beyond yesterday’s high or low for rejection and breakout-pullback setups, while for trend continuation it is derived from ATR, so it adapts to how much gold is moving. The take-profit follows a risk-reward ratio you set — 1.5 by default — and scales with the stop distance, staying proportional to the risk on each alert.

Setup in four steps

About five minutes, once. You need MetaTrader 4, an XAUUSD chart and a Telegram account.

1. Create a Telegram bot: message @BotFather, send /newbot and copy the token.
2. Find your chat ID: message @userinfobot for a personal chat, or add the bot as admin for a channel.
3. In MetaTrader: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → enable WebRequest and add https://api.telegram.org
4. Drop Gold Watcher on an XAUUSD M15 chart, paste the token and chat ID. A test message confirms the channel.
